Life Lately: Volume 1

Life lately:  A new series I am going to be starting around these parts.   A lot has been going on the last couple of months with us and I wanted to give a peek into the life of the future Flosses.

As I shared on my latest Living Room Revamp post, JJ and I moved into our new house last December.  We moved when there were mounds and mounds of snow on the ground.  We really didn’t get to enjoy the exterior of our house and the neighborhood.  To our surprise – these hydrangeas (as you can see below) were right in front of our front door! Hello pretties.

I am very happy with how our entryway/living room area has turned out.  On my latest post – you can see the details of all products (Links Included).  Storage boxes have quickly become my best friend.  They are great for organization and are stylish to boot.  You can find the white boxes HERE & the gray storage boxes HERE!

This weekend a dear friend of mine had her baby gender reveal party! I helped her plan and set up for her family & friends to attend.  It was a lot of fun.  The event will be posted soon. Stay tuned, my friends!  A peach + mint + gold party will be sure to wow you in about a weeks time! Can’t wait to share some photos!

Allie & Heather over at 20 Something Shop create vibrant and witty paper goods.  Their “gold digger” print I had to snatch up as soon as I saw it.  It is definitely going to be going in my home office.  It’ll give me a constant reminder every day that in order to make dreams/goals happen – I need to constantly work for them.

Sometimes you find someone through social media that you feel like you know with never meeting them. Allie from Allie Seidel is that for me. She has created an amazing small business and is teaming up with rouge and whimsy to create products like this organic makeup bag. Photo via Julie Jones from A Dash of Lovely.

My Pinterest Boards have been blowing up lately.  Between wedding and home decorating pins – I have been finding a lot of inspiration.  This Kitchen below was created for IKEA by Jillian Harris.

Last week my fiance and I traveled with a couple of friends out to Colorado to visit some other high school friends.  We had a blast catching up and sightseeing around Denver.  Side note – first time trying Boom Chicka Pop Popcorn and we fell in love!  Stay tuned for a post about Denver and the surrounding areas.
