The hubby is a whiskey lover, which has brought on MY love for whiskey. He drinks it neat (which I CAN do) but I would definitely prefer a whiskey cocktail, no doubt. Pineapple has been on our grocery list for the last few months on a regular basis. So I thought – why not put it in a cocktail recipe? This Pineapple Whiskey Sour is perfect for these summer months. Our whiskey of choice for this recipe is Cedar Ridge’s Single Malt Whiskey.
I was really excited to use our new Ice Cube Spheres to make this whiskey drink. They were given to us as a gift and work perfectly for the many whiskey drinks we like to concoct.

I know there are a lot of people that don’t seem to think they like whiskey. Try out this cocktail and let me know afterwards what you think. It is a great tropical drink that doesn’t have the full body taste of whiskey. Cedar Ridge is that good and the flavors in this drink are perfectly matched.

PINEAPPLE WHISKEY SOUR
- 4 oz. Pineapple Juice
- 1 oz Cedar Ridge Whiskey
- 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
- Add ice to your cocktail shaker.
- Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake until thoroughly chilled.
- Add ice or ice sphere to your glass.
- Pour over ice.
- Add an optional lemon slice for garnish.
